The government of Canada has introduced an Express Entry System for Economic Classes effective Jan 1, 2015. People who meet the criteria of one of these programs are placed into a pool of candidates. There will be regular draws from this pool and the candidates who are ranked high will get an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
Candidates are assessed on factors such as skills, work experience, language ability and education, which are from the information provided in the candidate's profile. The candidate receives a score and rank within the Express Entry pool. At any given time, the rank can change regularly but the total score changes only with an update in profile information.
We can help you prepare an application that can score the best possible amount of points for your respective situation and an advantageous rank.
Under the new system, having additional points through job offer supported by Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or a nomination by a province or territory will provide candidates with enough additional points to rank high enough to get an ITA.
